RDL Shellah

RDL Shellah is a rising force in Jamaica’s dancehall scene, recognized for his smooth delivery, authentic storytelling, and a sound that fuses traditional dancehall with modern global influences.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Shellah’s musical journey began at the grassroots level, where he developed his craft through real-life experiences, studio work, and consistent involvement in the local music circuit. Performing first under the names Providence and later RDL, he built a strong foundation that shaped his lyrical depth and signature vocal style—melodic, raw, and genuine.

His early career included affiliations with music collectives such as Roolingz Muzik, where he gained valuable exposure and sharpened his artistic identity.

In 2021, he officially rebranded as RDL Shellah, marking a new era defined by growth, versatility, and a more refined sound. This transition was highlighted by the release of his Showcase EP, a project that demonstrated his ability to blend dancehall with elements of hip-hop, UK bass, and contemporary Caribbean sounds.
