Humble Kydd is a Jamaican musician, born Nicholas Shepherd coming out of the streets of Clarendon.

Humble Kydd is a Jamaican musician, born Nicholas Shepherd coming out of the streets of Clarendon. Nicholas as a young boy grew up hearing his father playing music which piqued his interests in his craft.

His musical inspirations are Mavado and Jahmeil. Nicholas remembers singing with his brother “Singing Kid” songs from the great Alton Ellis and Bob Marley. He recorded his first single ‘LIFE HARD’ in 2007 produced by Jah Mason. In 2017 he entered Magnum Kings and Queens – which is a competition for young and coming artist in Jamaica – Nicholas entered the competition with his first released song ‘VISION’. Nicholas came 7th place out of the 36th competitors.

This did not discourage the young artist who was later signed to an overseas label House of Payne Empire Inc. In 2018, since being signed, Nicholas has been releasing hits like: ‘R.I.P (Friends We Lost)’ ft Jah Kooks, ‘Nah Listen’ ft, Bramo and ‘Testimony’ which was dropped in 2019. His latest project ‘Ready Fi Sure’ is now out for Pre order on all digital music platforms.
