Jellissen
Jellissen Keeton-Kelly Onofrei (born on May 3, 1997) is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, artist and world traveler. Jellissen received her high school diploma at Bishop Gibson high and during her time there she released her first single “Teenagers Love” at the age of 13 which made it to the billboards at #64 in 2011.
This achievement fueled the passion of the aspiring teen singer, however, her priority at the time was fulfilling academic obligations and so ceased music production.
Post high school graduation she went on to pursue additional studies (CAPE) at the Belair High school in Mandeville Jamaica. Throughout the course of this time, she participated in the Miss Jamaica Middlesex pageant where she was placed 7th ; gained valuable experience which she later used to groom children in the Little Miss Manchester Pageant and also joined many charity organizations.
In 2016 Jellissen decided to kicked start a career in Hospitality as a Loyalty and travel Agent with Sandals International Resorts where she honed and developed her skill set and work ethic.
Then in 2017 Jellissen moved to Montauk, New York and continued in Hospitality where she specialized in Guest Services at a boutique resort in the famous Hamptons. After this, she began to the travel Europe full time while working on her music.
Travelling enthralled her tremendously and so she started her own travel blog SUKASAMEIKING.COM in order to share her adventures with the world and also her own travel company LETSTRAVELWELL (based in Romania Europe) to help others create exciting adventures of their own.
She is inspired by many cultures, religions and channels these experiences into her paintings, drawings and of course her music.
Jellissen has released four singles Street dance style, Feting, OG, and Mr. Soldier. Street dance style and Mr. soldier has been the highlight of her career thus far and both have received attention from listeners worldwide.
She is currently working on her EP with Greenleaf records and is set to be released summer 2020.
