Maaaddd!! Is the only way to describe the vibe and energy within Junction Square, St. Elizabeth Saturday last. The Magnum Ten Long Ten Strong road show finale could not have had a better venue as the people from St. Bess really showed that they know how to party. Things got rolling with DJ Nicco jumping right into a mix, no warmup tunes, just straight fire from 10 until Boasy Bwoy Floyd was ready to subject the patrons to his usual antics. Melissa Dunkley, Getto Dream Street Collection and Romiech Wear put on a show worthy of any fashion spot with designs that showcases the manufacturing talents of all Jamaicans.

Creative Director Orville Hall coordinated a tight show with the Magnum girls and the models both working well under his direction. Star time began with the Shady Squad dance group giving the Junction masses, a 15 minute treat just before I-Octane touched the stage. Octane added a cultural vibe to the proceedings just before the hardcore portion of the show began.

And who else better to ease the crowd into this segment of the show than the Mumma of the dancehall herself, Lady Saw. Her brief but enjoyable set was packed hits from both the past and present with a sprinkling of her newer recordings. She then made way for Mr. Nuh Behaviour himself, Kiprich who engaged the crowd and with the help of Alozade brought a fitting end to the live performance section of the night. But that was not all, the St. Elizabeth massive still had to experience the selections of Alex Frass from the Swatch International sound. Hear wah mi a seh nuh, I can’t really summarize the feeling of the patrons at that point but let me say that it was the ending of the night and by that time the Magnum on offer had time to soak in so the majority of the venue was feeling real “nice” at that point.

Trust me this show was truly worthwhile experience and the perfect way for Magnum to end the popular series.
