  • Capleton, the fire continues

    I, like most of you, was wondering during the last couple of years during this new dance hop, or is it hip hall, phase that our music seems to have evolved to ‘Where is the fireman?’. Where was King Shango? Dancehall aficionados would know that from the mid 90s to the early 2000s, Capleton was on most if not all of dancehall’s most popular riddims sometimes even twice. Well apparently during that recording hiatus, Capleton was busy touring the world, you know, blazing the fire worldwide. But now he is back with a new album titled ‘The Fire Continues’ set to be distributed by VP Records not much has been revealed yet about the album but was is certain is that it will have nothing but new material on it. BACKAYARD was blessed to be invited to the album’s cover shoot done by Will.I.am Richards and predictably fire was a major theme.
