Dubajo. Los Jugos Locos ft Greg Morris
The band from Buenos Aires releases “Dubajo” on all digital platforms. This is a dub mix of the song “Por el bajo” from the album Senda Mística. Mixed at Tads Records studios in Kingston Jamaica, by the six-time Grammy Award-winning sound engineer; Gregory Morris. A different proposal about a genre that is gaining strength worldwide such as Afrobeat, more precisely Afropop.
Los Jugos has begun to work on a new stage of their album material. Not only from the production of new music and audios, but also from the combination with artists from different parts of the world with riddims already released by the band.
But returning to “Dubajo”, the proposal becomes different. It is an open invitation for the Reggae-Dancehall-Afro-Dub culture to appropriate the beat in order to converge and vibrate through Greg’s mix, with the Andean and Rioplatense essence of the original track. It is a call to DJs, Singjays and artists who can feel comfortable on the base.
The band, since its beginnings, has been constantly committed to searching for sound. In this case, sharing a concept with the fusion of Afro, with the psychedelia of Dub. Always seduced by this last genre, which is a facet explored through their discography.

As for the cover art, we once again have the participation of Renacer Collage, the band’s designer. A minimalist work that combines elements of collage, the hardness of a poster that could be from the 80s, 90s; and at the same time a current design. As always, elevating the project with each job.
You can listen and travel with the new Los Jugos Locos. Or let yourself go and freestyle on the beat with whoever you want!
