Some six years after its initial staging ‘New Rules’ returned to the National Stadium on the 2nd of July. Headliner and organizer Alkaline made a few calls and built a lineup that was aimed to please the many fans of dancehall who have been starved of a true stage show experience since the Jamaican entertainment sector was forced into lockdown by the coronavirus pandemic.

Performers include Pretti Pretti, Marcy Chin, I Waata, Jahvillani, Stalk Ashley, Brysco and Macka Diamond certainly set the stage for the headliners Skeng, Aidonia and of course Alkaline. All who had given the people who came to see them more than their expected money’s worth. This concert certainly was a great precursor to the many stage shows left on entertainment calendar for 2022.
