Centryy discovered music at the age of 10 when he heard Sizzla Kalonji and 50 cent on the radio in his early childhood from then Centrry found the passion for music because of the pull factors
Ravell Redman (Centryy) was born an raised in the parish of st Ann within a small town called Exchange, St. Ann near Ocho Rios. He was born 28 years ago old on October 9th and is from very industrious family background. Centryy discovered music at the age of 10 when he heard Sizzla Kalonji and 50 cent on the radio in his early childhood from then Centrry found the passion for music because of the pull factors within the Exchange community, whereby he was a part of a music group called Flava City which was also known for young talents more leaning towards artwork.
Centryy began his journey recording his first song called “Badminded People”, which has since gotten airplay on IRE FM. Centryy saw that as manifestation, sowing the seeds he has sowed and ever since then he has never stopped. Additionally, Centryy further nurtured his attributes through high school and the University of the West Indies, where he was studying politics because of aspirations to become the Prime Minister of Jamaica. However, his passion for music was in his heart so Centryy made the necessary sacrifice during those years after living overseas for three years and feeling the need to pursue his musical goals
Regarding this song “RIP” Centryy lost his mother at the age of five years old. This is a true story.
