Mark Messam Showcase’s Reggae Music
Smooth, versatile and charming are just a few words used to describe reggae recording artiste Mark Messam.
With only just a few days away for the official release of his EP, entitled: Mark Messam Showcase which will tastefully serve six (6) “show stopping” songs produced by the remarkable Grammy award winning Phatta of Phat Trax Records. The simmering single:Make You Mine is enjoying heavy rotation on the airwaves locally and internationally.
As Mark Messam continues to stir up a frenzy on the reggae scene, his EP boasts the following tracks: Find A Lover, Make You Mine, The Way It Is, Not The Same, Gunman and Can’t Find Love . The songs will have fans swaying and taken to the memory lane of reggae music in the late 80s and 90s.
“I used to listen to singers like Tony Curtis, his type of melody and music made me appreciate reggae music even more. There will be a video shoot for the song Make You Mine, which is in the first phase of planning, so you can look out for that very soon.” shared Mark smiling
The St. Elizabeth native, exploded on to the music scene in 1996 with his hit song My Lady which solidified the talented artiste path and lane within the music industry.
“I gained a lot of experience musically in the business, It is not easy because of the competitiveness in the industry. I always strive for the best and put in 100%; sometimes I have set backs but I never give up, I really have a passion for music and I just keep pushing.”
The My lady singer would like to quickly assure his fans that, his team is more than equipped to continue with the delivery of quality music and world class hits which they can always enjoy.
In celebration of mile stones in his musical career, the Mark Messam Showcase a six track reggae EP will be available on all major digital platforms.
When asked if he has any words of wisdom for upcoming artistes who need to be encouraged he responded, ” Don’t give up on your dreams, stay focused, put God first in everything you are doing, pray, believe in yourself and be positive.”
