Recording artiste Suhverto wears many hats, as a singjay, songwriter,
composer and entrepreneur.
Like many before him, his journey in music began with him singing in school. His first official single “Headline” was released in 2006, while he was a member of the group JOP (now called the 4th Generation Camp).
Produced by Black Chiney Records, the song was featured on the Drumline Riddim.
Suhverto was one of the founding members of the group and parted ways
with them in 2011, in an effort to grow as an artiste, as well as to learn the
business side of music.

Since then, as a solo artiste, he has been featured on several popular riddims and has worked with some of the biggest names in Dancehall. He has worked with two of the most prominent labels in Jamaica, Big Ship Records and Head Concussion Records. Some of his releases include “Shake Up Her Body” on the Street Swag Riddim, “Dem Nuh Really Care” on the Bad People Riddim and “People Dead” on the Gun Show Riddim.
2009 was a big year for the artiste, with one of his most successful tracks to
date being released. The song “Wi Sick” is a collaboration with Dancehall
artiste Aidonia and is featured on the Outbreak Riddim. From there, he
embarked on a headline Europe tour of the same name from April to May. He also graced several local and international stages that year such as Spring Break, Sting and Reggae Sumfest.

With an eclectic style of music that combines both Dancehall and Reggae,
the artiste takes inspiration from other musicians such as Peter Tosh, Beres
Hammond, Tony Curtis and Wayne Wonder. A lyricist who finds inspiration in his surroundings and social interactions with others, Suhverto is determined to build a career that caters to both local and international audiences, while becoming one of Jamaica’s biggest musicians. Noting the value of hard work, he has sacrificed 4 to 5 years simply sharpening his craft and getting his music out on bigger platforms.

Under the management of House of Payne Empire Inc, the recording artiste
is confident that he is on the right path moving forward. He recently recorded a new track for them called “Nah Give Up,” this being the first for many to come.
When all is said and done, Suhverto’s main goal is to perform good, positive
music that showcases his versatility, honing, as he puts it, his natural born
talent.
