Halonai signed to UK record label Geme Records after honing his production skills over at the legendary King Jammy’s studios
Halwayne Coleman aka Halonai is a Jamaican recording artist from Spanish Town, St Catherine, he was introduced to music from a tender age by his father who used to sing around the Wynter Penn and Frazer Content area in Spanish Town.
Halonai signed to UK record label Geme Records after honing his production skills over at the legendary King Jammy’s studios, his first release ‘It’s A Happy Day’ has been widely received and lauded by local and international industry insiders.
He quickly followed up with ‘One Away’ on his Yaad of Fame Music imprint, he went on to release “Keep It Irie”, which has further cemented his place in the music industry.
Halonai has had two interviews for the Jamaican Star newspaper and numerous radio interviews, most notable Roc Friday and Sun City on each occasion gaining new acclaim and recognition within the industry and his country of birth, Jamaica.
Halonai is completing his first EP/Album with collaborations and new material which aim to please his growing fans and commentators alike.
First release before the EP drops early 2021 is a song titled “Yaadman”, celebrating the life of a Jamaican born on the neatly coined Rock.
