The voice that brings the ‘BOOM!’ Sav808, born Yenique Hines on August 13th, 1991, is a recording artist rising from Duhaney Park, Kingston 20. She attended the Holy Childhood High School for girls, where she excelled in the creative arts. A natural-born artist, she studied theatre at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
With a passion for music running through her veins from an early age, melodies have always been a part of her experiences throughout life, singing along to musical styles of various artists her mother would play from cassettes and records. With influencers like Shae Jones, Celine Dion, Anita Baker, Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, and Usher, 808 crafted her own style and pattern from which she produced songs like ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Walk Alone, and ‘Pan di Mark’
