With a discography of over 60 albums, numerous diverse collaborations, and countless accolades, Levy is undoubtedly one of the most prolific artists out of Jamaica.

Last February, legendary reggae artist Barrington Levy graced the stage for St Ann’s One Drop Concert with Gramps Morgan and Luciano, in a rare appearance in Jamaica. While we at home anxiously await the Clarendonian’s next visit, fans residing in the US can anticipate what promises to be an unforgettable experience this summer.

The reggae veteran has been making music for almost 50 years. With a discography of over 60 albums, numerous diverse collaborations, and countless accolades, Levy is undoubtedly one of the most prolific artists out of Jamaica. His consistency and devotion to his craft have contributed to an unbelievably robust catalogue of big tunes. After his first breakout song “Collie Weed” was released in 1979, the hits just kept coming.

Audiences can expect to hear a mix of favorites like “Too Experienced,” “Living Dangerously,” “Black Roses,” “Under Mi Sensei,” and certainly the tour’s namesake “Here I Come (Broader Than Broadway)” on the Mellow Canary’s “Here I Come – A Fi Yuh” tour, which celebrates 40 years since the classic was released. The run kicks off June 1st in Tucson, Arizona and ends on September 14th, in Chicago, Illinois.

It isn’t often that reggae lovers get the opportunity to witness an artist of this stature. If you find yourself anywhere near the vicinity of the 34 cities the tour will hit, don’t wait to get your tickets.
