Tuff Like Iron – Ironic review
With a name like Tuff Like Iron, you have to, at least, appear to be strong. Whatever form of strength there is to muster, should be clear for all to see. This industry is especially ‘tuff’ for women so, when there is any evidence of a woman making head way in the industry, it should be celebrated. With her debut album “Ironic,” Tuff like Iron aims to show that her music is powerful enough to break the clear barriers that still exist within the music industry. These 17 tracks play out easily with “Just Wanna Dance” (feat. Dequeen), “Run Di Place,” “Artist Life” and “Rocking and Swing” feat, Jahdan Blakkamoore, being the ones that has stuck to my mind. “Ironic” is a very credible debut, the onus is now on Tuff Like Iron to sharpen her skills for her next full release.
