Top 5 Soca: DJ J-Lava

Dei Musicale has done it again in 2015. Whether if it was appearing on the big truck with Machel
Montano and Angela Hunte or being caught on camera partying with Rihanna, the crew featuring the
talents of Ruan Legend, Jules Sobian and DJ J-Lava has been all over the Caribbean this carnival
season.

And what a season it has been with increasing levels of participation and interest in the islands
of Jamaica and Barbados especially. This bodes well for 2016, as costume designs are already being
launched and bands booked in Trinidad & Tobago right now, with new party anthems being recorded,
mixed and mastered. However this past season’s anthems should have replay ability into the New Year
as 2015 unearthed some classics. Here once again is DJ J-Lava to pick out his Top 5 soca songs
from each island he and Dei Musicale visited in 2015. As usual if you either agree or disagree you should,
most importantly, feel free to send your own top 5 to
