NATURALISS REPRESENTING JAMAICA INTERNATIONALLY
How often you find major Reggae and Dancehall recording artists given the opportunity to showcase and represent Jamaica on an international level by way of movie or documentary? Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Toots Hibbert, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Tessanne Chin, Ky-Mani Marley, Cherine Anderson, Assassin and Spragga Benz, they all did it and now Reggae and Dancehall recording artiste Naturaliss have. A documentary movie trailer titled “Range – Potential (Album Trailer)” has just been released which features Naturaliss representing Jamaica along with other recording artists from around the world like Canada, England, New York and more.
New York based E.D.M producer James Hinton A.K.A “The Range” searches YouTube far and wide like no other normal youtuber, searching for something unusual, emotional with potential for his new Albums. The Range came across Naturaliss YouTube Reggae video “1000 Blessing” and reached out to Naturaliss in order to sample it for his upcoming album “potential” on a track titled “1804”, set to be released on March 25, 2016 along with a documentary titled “Super Impose”. 1804 is uptempo but spiritual E.D.M song which speaks to the needing of divine intervention when you are faced with obstacles. A world premiere is set to be released on one of Jamaica’s major radio station later on this month.
The documentary was shot in March 2015 in areas like Spanish Town Prison Oval St. Catherine, Famous night club Portmore, St Catherine, News Talk 93 FM St Andrew and parts of U.W.I campus, Cr3 records studio Pt. More St. Catherine, Islington, St. Mary and other areas. The main concept of this documentary is to share the artists life story and musical journey leading up to the The Range Potential album. Super Impose promises to be very heartwarming as recording artists tells their very touching musical stories.
Naturaliss wasted no time in showcasing Jamaica’s culture with “Dinki Mini”, songs and dancing and much more.The documentary “Super Impose”, is scheduled to be released in March 2016 along with “The Range Potential Album”.
