Inezi – Straight Away
Horatio Flowers Live Music. This consummate musician known affectionately by friends and fans as “I-nezi”, Which rules under the sign of Taurus. While a student at Dint-hill Technical High School he unearthed his talent for singing and creating music through numerous pursuits, which lead to him forming a school group and performing with the school choir while constantly creating music.
As a diligent student of the vocal arts, he has been consistently dedicated to the growth of his innate abilities, constantly writing and recording new songs he ventured in the Digicel Rising Stars as a part of the group “H5” and was among the top five contestants in 2004. Following the group name change to “Conscious” he ventured as a member into the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall in 2007. He has worked with Teflon Zinc-fence and released the roots and culture, the single is well received and he has been invited to do shows in the future. Always faithfully bound to the pursuits of a lifelong quest through his god given ability to create music.
In 2018, I-nezi signed to “New Vision One Records” & has been optimistic about furthering & building his career in music. It has been a challenging and a wonderful journey so far, filled with new and promising encounters. I-nezi main objective is to take his music to optimum level by pursuing positive and influential music that leaves a righteous impact on society.
Inezi has been busy in studio and is set to release his first official single “Straight Away” January 22. “Straight Away” samples the legendary Sly and Robbie’s version of Let Me Tell You Boy riddim and its socially conscious lyrics complemented by Inezi’s soulful vocals is served with melodies and style. Inezi is no stranger to the local music industry. Inezi is a Top 5 contestant in the 2004 Digicel Rising Stars competition and finalist in the 2007 Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall competition. Previously, Inezi worked with Teflon Zinc-Fence and released the “Roots and Culture” single which is currently being played on major radio stations.
Inezi recently appeared in the music video “badness” which is a Ninja Man remix done by Money Marc and the Monkey crew based in Australia. The video featured well know artists such as Richie Spice, Turbulence, IoTosh and others.
