Dez I Boyd

Together with Dez I Boyd, the music label – Full100 Music – from Germany has managed to show the world that music knows no bounds. Music makes no difference between nations or skin color.

Thousands of miles away, it has been possible to produce the song “Strange Things” without the participants ever having met in person. The beat was composed and recorded by Gwendal Douet “Kung Fu Beats”. The contact to Kung Fu Beats has been made by Perfect Giddimani for Full100 Music and is a good friend of the label. The vocals are by Desmond Boyd and recorded on Move Up Records in Clarendon. Also the mix and mastering was completed there. The video for the song was shot under the direction of Roger Facey – APS Columbian Films. The beautiful ambience of Pop Up Studio and Red Hills Road in Kingston have given the music video a special flair. The video will be released in the next few days.

Full100 Music was founded in June 2018 and works with numerous artists from Jamaica. Musicians like Platinum Flames, Jawdan, Mighy 1ne, Wiseman, Mojo Herb and now also Dez I Boyd work together with Full100 Music.

Desmond Boyd, better known as Dez I Boyd, is an international music sensation whose style and sound combine the best of pop, reggae, dancehall and hip-hop. From his modest beginnings in his local church choir at the age of four to his successes at the Tastee Talent Contests, Dez I Boyd is an artist and songwriter with a lot of talent.

His 2008 debut album “Thanks for Life,” released on New Creations Records, has brought Dez I Boyd to a loyal and large fanbase, not only in his native Jamaica but also abroad. “Thanks for Life” brought the hit singles “Shake Up Yuh Natty”, “Essence” and “She Got It”. His tours and performances have taken him to the Caribbean, USA and Europe. Other songs such as “Rucktuk Girl” with Lady Lady Kayne, “Nothing Nah Gwaan”, “Color Code”, “Clean Speech and currently” Strange Things “followed.
