Puffy performs during Red Bull Thr3Style World Final 2016 in Santiago, Chile on Dec 17th

Barbados’ DJ Puffy wins the RedBull #Thre3style World Finals.

After making history earlier this week, when he became the first disc jockey from his island to qualify for the RedBull #Thre3style World Finals. Bajan Andre ‘DJ Puffy’ Parris went out and actually won the entire thing.

After a scintillating 15 minute set at the Vélodromo del Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile. He was crowned champion by a judging panel including former The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Puffy was announced the winner of the Day 2 Qualifier on Thursday where he competed against Dj Stresh of France, Dj A of Brasil, Dj Ches of Spain, Dj Cross of Belgium and Dj Delta from Italy.

After being announced as the winner, Puffy, 25, dropped to his knees in complete shock. He said: “I
didn’t make history tonight, you did!

“It’s truly a blessing to share stages with the top 23 deejays in the world, it has been an amazing and
phenomenal couple of days.”

Around 1000 fans went crazy to the beat at the World Final which also featured DJ Trapment from
Canada, DJ JFB from the UK, DJ Beast Mode from Australia and DJ You-Ki from Japan.

This result brought to an end four amazing nights where 24 of the world best DJs delivered their soulful
and skilled talent.
