Being young and achieving a lot in any business is very difficult but add to that a business that is filled with as many egos as the entertainment industry then it can be doubly hard. Rennae Garrel has made several strides early in her life to ensure a long and productive career in media. A past student of St. Peter & Paul Prep School and St. Andrew High School for Girls, Rennae also acquired an Associate Degree in Media and Communication from Crown Institute of Professional Studies and a degree in Radio Broadcasting from University of the West Indies not bad considering that she was actively working in the entertainment industry during that time.

Rennae has been involved in the performing arts from age 6 and has entered Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) at various levels and won national gold medals while at St. Peter & Paul and at St. Andrew High School. It was based on those achievements that she naturally transitioned into entertainment.
