Born Andre Ellis on September 13th 1984, Nature always felt he had the knack for music. “I was performing since age 9; it was my hobby to sing during lunchtime singing so much sometimes the teacher would have to stop me singing during class.” He explains. Originally from Montego Bay, Nature attended Glendevon All Age School and while at St. James High, he excelled at electrical installation, but everything else he did revolved around music. “My last year at St. James High I got a singing and writing scholarship at a competition put on by Dangerzone.” Nature reflects.” I won a trophy and 25 thousand dollars which I used to do some music training with Mr. Matthews at Herbert Morrison.”

After graduating Nature got a job at Ritz Carlton hotel however even though the salary was good Nature still found himself wanting to do music. “I eventually left the job; I knew I would have to suffer for a time because I am on a mission.” So after several months of deliberation Nature decided to come to Kingston because he felt that if he was in Kingston, his music career will pick up.
