  • Rebelution - Introducing the Reggae, Rock, Dub Band

    Santa Barbara, California natives reggae, rock and dub fusion band Rebelution are out to prove that good reggae music can be produced outside of Jamaica.  Following in the footsteps of others such as UB40 and Matisyahu  

    Back in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar,) Rory Carey (keyboards,) Wesley Finley (drums,) and Marley D. Williams (bass) formed the band and have gradually been on a mission to not only dominate the Cali Reggae Scene but the world with their music.  The first full length album which released in 2007 entitled Courage to Grow was well received by their fans and was considered an important musical breakthrough for the group.  Their brand new 12 track sophomore album Brighter Side of Life was released on August 4, 2009 features the band's signature sounds with a clear new influence sampled from the hip hop world.  

    There is much that can be said about the band Rebelution but it's best to let their music speak for itself.
